I was very happy to read that as well as food, water, supplies, they will also be bringing medicine for children.

This is beautiful news MashaAllah! My family that lives in the UAE told me that they made a Khutbah on Friday in all masjids about how Somalis used to help them in the past and that they should donate to help them now. Abu Dhabi TV and Dubai TV were talking about Somalis for one whole day nonstop!

They want to raise 1 billion Dirham for Somalis!
AlhamduliLah for muh Ummah!:fittytousand:

We went from feeding Bedouins to not having Breakfast. When will Somalis learn that help can only come from helping each other.

Please do not turn this into a political thread, i posted this in General for a reason, i could've easily written Berbera, Somaliland. But i wish for people to just understand that this is a drought, not a political topic.

My father told me how they used to sail on boats carrying dates to Berbera and used to roam bare footed in the city selling water containers (Jalxadaha) and sail back carrying livestock hide and roof for their homes. How we have fallen :mjcry:

@Hemaal @horumar

If you see my posts they are 90% economical and not political.

Focusing on politics is why my brother @Inquisitive_ shops around with coupons.

This post cracked me up, horta you remind me of the' 'monetise' everything outlook I used to have in life, everything was numbers cost and ratio's, nothing was left to chance until the spiritual awakening and born-again vigour.

Prior to this in Jaahiliya much like you currently do, the relaxation escapades and routines involved debauchery, overindulgence, lewdness and excess; now replaced with zeal, philanthropist gusto and community outreach fervour.

Inshaallah that day will come for you soon sxb :)

I knew it would get a chuckle outta ya!:pachah1:

I'm actually a loving husband and father who works from home, and has SSPOT on his chrome tab amongst a Shopify Store, Stock trading platform and Feedly RSS feed fueled by business blog posts and new agricultural practices.

SSPOT is a temporary relief, and a reminder of how not to think.

I don't chase money; I send it to work every morning. :farole:

Your last quote reminds me of that degenerate Kevin O'Leary from Shark Tank, the true essence of a parasite and a leech.

Your fortunate to have got married very young, the older you get, the higher the standards, it's a double whammy especially someone like you, count yourself fortunate man!

Regarding stock trading unless it's in the emerging Asian markets and your a professional at managing your portfolio you will do well, not so well in the Western bubble markets. I prefer buying up stuff in third world countries on the cheap, the real Somali entrepreneurs are in back water third world cesspits

SSpot is my way of giving back to the community, I prefer educating the people rather then watch them burn themselves. I am glad you enjoy it, I am sure you laugh at the dupes defending some cesspit warlord or politician crackpot that doesn't know about their existence nor cares, we are on the same boat on this.

You could pick some crackpot from my region and I will humiliate him with you and laugh, I only have allegiance to the truth and prior 'money' but grew out of that phase your in now :pachah1:
