• Saudi builds Islamic schools all over the world
• Saudi facilitates Hajj and Umrah for millions of people
• Saudi takes care of refugees
• Saudi enforces Sharia (to the best of their ability, although they may have shortcomings)
• Etc etc etc

Do they have mistakes and sins? Yes, they do; we all do. So, we ask Allah to guide them to the straight path, to provide them with good advisers, and to rectify their affairs. This is the dua that Fudayl ibn Iyyad and Imam Ahmad would make for their rulers, praying for Allah to rectify their affairs because their rectification is the rectification of the Muslims and the land.

However, they are the best Islamic nation we have had since the era of the Umayyad Khilafa. That is the reality. If one reads history, after the Umayyad Khilafa, kufr entered the various nations to differing degrees. There was the kufr of believing that the Speech of Allah is created, followed by the kufr of grave worship, and then the kufr of believing that Allah is in every place in His essence (wahdat ul wujud). There was also the kufr of sacrificing to other than Allah, as mentioned by Musa Al-Salafi. The list is endless concerning the kufr and shirk that affected various Muslim leaders and nations, such as with the Abbasids enforcing the belief that the speech of Allah is created or with the Ottomans enforcing grave worship and killing those who refuted grave worship.

Certainly, not everyone was affected, and there were commendable leaders, Alhamdulillah. Many leaders were unfortunately ignorant and misled by malevolent advisers. Despite these challenges, the Ummah remained upon Islam, Alhamdulillah. However, doubts had begun to infiltrate, and at times, shirk was even imposed by the state on the people under the threat of force.

This is why Shaykh Allammah Rabi' Ibn Hadi Al-Madhkhali Hafidhahullah remarked, "I do not know, in history, a nation established upon tawhid and committed to teaching tawhid after the Rightly Guided Khulafa and Umayyad Sultanate like Saudi Arabia."

We stand firm in defense of the truth, regardless of any derogatory labels like "bootlickers" that may be attached to us. Our commitment lies in upholding the Quran and Sunnah in our interactions with the rulers.

In a period marked by intense animosity towards the Saudi rulership, with some advocating for the violent overthrow of the Saudi leaders, promoting rebellion, chaos, and the plundering that ultimately devastates Muslim lands, it becomes crucial for us to address and dispel misconceptions that Muslims may harbor concerning Saudi Arabia and its contributions to Islam.
