So he decides to make a surprise whitehouse announcement to reassure the nation his memory is fine

There is no way he is beating trump like this! He is finished. Only hope is trump get convicted for a crime but that's probably not going to happen before the election.

All the polls show a general trend that Trump will defeat Biden. We are watching America’s decline in real time, 50-75 years from now America will no longer be a Global Hegemon/Super Power. It was George Bush Jr that began the initial decline of the United States with Obama trying to clean up his mess (two wars & a recession) but during this period American domestic politics began to become more polarizing & extremely toxic which gave the opening for Donnie Who has zero regard for what remains as “American democracy”.
