He loved power, yes. A dictator, yes. If you deny these, then that is delusional. But financial? Somalia was built back then, he could have brought some classical cars, and built himself some homes and build his own region. Nope to all of these.

But, in most cases, from Mengistu, Mubarak, Ben Ail to Ail Salah, they became filthy rich during their reign and left or exiled with some money that they looted. Or in the cases of Gaadafi and Saddam, whatever remaining family members took the remaining wealth that was stashed away, or became a guest to a rich kingdom who gave them financial incentives. His family is your average Farax family today, nothing of monetary worth to signify his era in power.

If he ain't a citizen of the nation, he ain't Ethiopian. You don't become Ethiopian by just being born on Ethiopian land, and nether his father and mother was a Ethiopian. Jus Soil doesn't apply in Ethiopia, thus making him a Somali national, with Somali citizenship born in Ethiopia. Sometimes common sense is needed before peddling nonsense crap like this .

He could be born in Pluto for all I care, does Jus Soil apply? If not, he is Somali.
