Tree planting

Any tree planting experts here? i was wondering if i could plant some trees back home and what kind of factors would be involved in planting trees.Tree planting could help the environment and could be crucial in reversing some of the environmental effects of overgrazing back home which can contribute to drought.

1) does it matter what tree it is and where it imported from?
2)is it easier to grow it abroad and then have them imported?

Good idea, i doubt cherry blossoms will grow in hot climate i might be wrong. My favorites are Catalpa and Royal poinciana but i would also like to see Eucalyptus grown in somalia very pleasant smelling leaves.

I think they will grow in some parts of the north especially the mountain regions where it is cooler.All they really need to survive are cold nights.
