    This dance is called jaandheer(jandare) it is mainly danced by the people of Sool, Sanaag and Cayn regions in the North.

    Jaandheer is one of the best somali dances. I’ve said t before and I’ll say it again it’s way better than dhaanto.

    I wonder what's the meaning behind it is it a war dance a courtship dance etc I love learning meaning behind dances it makes them more meaningful

    Most dances like saylici, dhaanto, jandheer etc seem to hail from SSC masha'Allah while filthy non-Islamic dances like niiko hail from hirshabelle and benadir
