Reading this it seems cost of living in Canada big cities have sky rocketed in big cities so much that average workers can’t afford to live there. Like any functional society most jobs are low to average pay. So how do average person survive in places like Toronto

My favourite movie is Demolition Man. Don’t know if you watched it but I can see the west becoming like that. The haves and don’t haves and the don’t haves live underground while the have live all nicely being heavily policed.

This is what happens when you expand the welfare state beyond seniors, disabled and temporary unemployment and universal health care/education. Low quality people (who are always leftists) end up dictating everything when in real life they're supposed to be struggling and die off. What used to be 10% is now like 75%.. The more you help, the more losers you create. It's to society's detriment that they were given a voice and power. They have destroyed Toronto and many NA cities.
