Tomorrow Saturday 10th of August is the Day of Arafat also known as the Day of Acceptance of Duas and Day of Repentance. If you're able to fast, please do so.

It is the day of forgiveness of sins, freedom from the Fire:

In Sahih Muslim it was narrated from ‘Aaishah (radi Allahu anha) that the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of Arafah. He comes close and expresses His pride to the angels, saying, ‘What do these people want?’”

Ask Allah whatever you want, inshAllah He will accept. Indeed, my Lord is the Hearer of Supplications.

Thank you for the reminder. I was made aware of the Day of Arafat by family members who are fasting today.

Thank you for that. I learned something new today.
