Tips for university

I am going to the whitest university in the UK in a couple of months. I’m fine with cadaan people though, I’ve basically assimilated into cadaan culture so it shouldn’t be a problem. Does anyone who’s already been or currently is in university have any tips for someone like me? Whether it be about wider student life or studying.

got nothing for you :francis: I didn't bother participating in campus life/ collage culture. I only went to campus for class and got the hell out of there the moment the prof dismissed us. In and out, that was it. Even tho i desired to have fun, the amount of haram and scary shit that happens in these places is astounding.:faysalwtf: Therefore I avoided parties like they were the plague. Don't be like me, and end up with a pretty boring life. Have fun, but be careful not get up to haram shit or taken advantage of.

Wallahi shit scary in my college a somali girl got jumped in her dorm bcs one of her roommate’s bf like her. Glad I decided to stay at home.

Take your first year seriously.
This right here. Also, be prepared for the absolute hell that awaits you in 2nd year depending on your degree. But 3rd year should be a piss of piece apart from a handful of difficult exams.

Make the most of freshers week. Those middle class to upper-middle cadaan girls from Surrey/Kent lose their minds :pachah1:

Oh and one last piece of advice. Your 3rd year should be spent networking and going to all those wanky "Hand-shake" events with companies your university hosts. Doing a year in industry is just as important as your degree classification at this point.

But above all else, don't neglect your friendships from back home. The relationships/friendshipd you build whilst at uni are fickle and you probably wouldn't talk to half of those people soon as your final semister wraps up.

I heard men might purposely flirt/ show that they like a girl to drive their gf crazy. A manipulation tactic they use.

Chose your friends wisely. Have a solid group who study hard and are trying to better themselves. Dont be friends with slackers and losers wasting daddy’s money to turn up and chase girls.

Network/be friendly with as many useful people as possible and join a fraternity. I suggest Sigma Chi. The degree won't be as valuable without doing that.

I don’t think so the bf was a part of a pokemon society or some shit from what i heard. I think he told his gf that in a moment of weakness, which honestly made me more mad that a somali girl got jumped bcs of this langaab low testosterone cali beysteen.

What course? If you have the option to do a sandwich year do it I'd genuinely say its more important than your first 2 years combined since a sandwich year will make you more desirable for recruiters. In some cases you might even get picked up by whoever you worked for in your sandwich year straight out of uni
