Nah, Turks are in denial of this and would fight you if you told them so. I've always said bros you're Greek people who got assimilated by Turks who themselves were assimlated by the real Turk crusaders from Mongolia. It's a chain of (a still active) Turkification of Turkified people Turkifiying others, I've even seen some new comers from the Balkan countries whose real ancestry is known but yet crying and saying they missed their ancestors and are proud of them every time they hear a story about the real Turks from Mongolia fighting and invading other people, it's like being happy for an invader invading your ancestors and Turkifiying them in the process, it's like being proud of the people who brought a lot of misery to your ancestors.
