they also had famines and were sucking food aids even after the fall of Somalia's gov in 1991. They had atleast one big famine in 2003, and after that food aids kept them at float. But thanks to Abiye regime, the food aid was diverted multiple times, and the money was used to buy weapons.

Everyone has their turn in the seat of power for ethiopia before it was amharas then tigrays and now oromos its expected for the tigrayans to fall off just like the amharas behold Ethiopia land of the winner takes all.

They had two big famines in 1973–1975 and 1983–1985. Abiy is basically repeating what the imperial government did in the former and the Derg in the latter. Famines are utilised as a mean of suppression.
