As much as I find it funny: it’s not fair the women who’s supposed to represent our country is getting dragged on the mainstream news. I know the internet can be blown out of proportion; but we as [Somalis] could have done something to not let this happen.

-But since Nepotism is a problem in our community I guess I don’t mind seeing this being blown out of proportion. Maybe then the [officials] can do something to not let this happen again.

I hope we can find and fund a good athletes who can represent our community in the future; and in the long run (puns not intended).

A good lesson to be learn here.

Nepotism training courses


The somali government needs to educate and train government officials on being very professional and smooth with their nopitism

If a government official gets a scholarship or training seminar abroad, it shouldn't matter who he picks among his cousins. They can pick the slowest cousin they got we shouldn't care.

But if it's an international tournament or something where the Somali flag has be represented, then the gornment needs to intervene and make sure their cousin is fit for the job.
