I finally decided to take a break from clubhouse. I couldn't deal with the toxic people on there. People trying to take over rooms and centre themselves on an issue, the swearing, yelling, oh and the weaponizing of deen. Anytime you have your own opinion your iman starts to get questioned or you hear comments like "liberal" or "feminists." I'm being asked to present evidence when I call a person out like this whole audio app 
I get we are in a global pandemic and seeing destruction everywhere, but people need to realize that they are talking to human beings that have feelings. I knew this app was getting to me when I had an anxiety attack after a Somali man raised his voice at me and was belittling me. I feel straight up disappointment and like my world shatters when I start vibing with a guy for him to suddenly do a 180 and say misogynistic things. When I'm on this website tho the vibes are so much better and I feel like I can speak my mind. I don't even want to be anywhere near Somali clubhouse ever again. wabillahi tawfiq.
