My mom once told me about a young girl who recently got to the west but ended up drowning a few months later when her class had swimming lessons. Apparently she ended up the the deep end of the pool but didn't get noticed until it was too late



I'm lucky my father would take me swimming often as a kid and teach me how to swim. Once you learn it properly you don't really forget it.
