They need to legalise weed in the UK!

I am fucking tired of hiding my weed and of the prices that i have to pay for an 1/8. The war on drugs has failed stupendously with billions going down the drains. Between 2001 and 2011 36.5 million ounces of cannabis was consumed per year,if the consumption could be regulated and taxed then it is estimated that the uk cannabis economy is worth £6.8 billion. Thats fucking half of the tobacco economy in the UK. :dwill:. I bet that the pharma companies are sending big cheques to certain individuals in parliament. :mjkkk:

I know a lot of people who are paranoid schizophrenics because of skunk. I hope it's never legalised.

Hasn't weed always been £20 for and eighth? That's not very expensive.

UK is led by a sensible Prime Minister and government. It should never be legalized. There are many negative effects that come with it.

it'll destroy the pharmaceutical industry... besides this man Harry Anslinger is too blame. he hated mexican/blacks, he also had invested heavily in the timber to support his newspaper chain industry and didn’t want to see the development of hemp paper in competition. he really hated the mexicans, he lost 800,000 acres of timberland too them LOL.. and sense he controlled what people read, he got very rich convincing the public marijuana/weed causes violence, and mexicans are too blame...

that was in the 30s, today its a different story it has more to do with pharmaceutical companies.. but this man Harry anslinger paved the way.. you should read Johann Hari's book "Chasing the Scream" you won't be disappointed.

Weed contains psychoactive substances and cannabinoids such as THC. these substances just activate region in the brain that schizophrenic prone individuals unfortunately have. They would have become schizophrenics in the long term. There are also many health benefits to cannabis, from pain relief to cancer curing properties. Its important not to abuse any substance but yes. Sugar is more dangerous than weed.Heck marbles kill more people than weed. Check the statistics. :whoa:
Im tired of people using dogmatic views without doing their own research to come to their own conclusions. Critical thinking goes a long way.

They may already be susceptible to schizophrenia but it's the weed that triggers it.

That has definitely been verified. So i wouldn't recommend individuals with schizophrenic family members to smoke. But there isn't a single thing that illicit the reason for its illegal nature. Its propaganda at this point. Either ban alcohol with it. Or legalise weed. It should not be contraband period.

Sometimes you're the first person in generations to get schizophrenia, it's not worth the risk. Also it makes normal people paranoid and the effects can mimic psychosis, some even hallucinate on skunk.

Thats a logical fallacy. Its called argumentum ad populum. Just because most people believe something to be true doesn't make it true. Only a very small minority of people hallucinate and get anxiety on smoking skunk. Not to mention the fact that skunk is a variety of cannabis, there are plenty of other strains that do not induce hallucinations. the frequency of the number of people that hallucinate is comparable to the number of people who become allergic to a certain product or food, they must take personal responsibility to stop.
