There are no factories to process yoghurts and milk that’s why the milk in Somalia are all long life and not fresh.

Lately, there's a lot of negativity about Somaliland on the forums. Somaliland doesn't have recognition, doesn't have yogurt, doesn't have this or that . The best way for Somalis to support their Somaliland brothers is by praying for them, asking Allah to assist them in their quest for independence.

Imagine if one diaspora came and built factory for yogurt. He can easily become millionaire and have monopoly over yogurt products

What’re you talking about?? Why would Somalis support Somaliland and want them to be independent?

Mogadishu has so many factories that make yoghurt. Here is one of them

It’s the companies name. It has all kinds of yoghurt. The blue one you see is the natural plain yoghurt. Mind you this is just one company out of many that competes to dominate the market
Do they sell their products in SL

Not sure brother. Have you seen the product on the shelves of Hargeisa?
I have seen many foods that come from Somalia that grow in the south in the markets of hargaisa but I haven’t seen yogurt.

Primitive kulaha. Our people make the real yogurt. Like straight from the milk. I can almost remember my grandmother shaking the haan to make it while singing. Like if you know what am talking about πŸ₯°

Have you ever heard of 'ciir & garoor'? If so, what do you think those are? Or are you looking for the curd, with added-on flavouring probiotics, in plastic containers with yoghurt splashed on the side?
