Big reason why somalia is poor is because of our nomadic nature. In 1960 over 70% of the population was nomads which makes it hard to provide education, healthcare etc. Hence why we couldn’t compete, even today nomads make up possibly a third of all of Somalia’s population, IMO we need to end nomadism for somalia to prosper it simply isn’t an effective means of living in the 21century.
