is the concept of the nation state and the Europeans coming to Africa.

In the past, we would direct all of our hatred and strength in conquering other ethnic groups, but these artifical lines have made all Somalis redirect the qabyaalad on to each other.

A lot of the instability and conflicts come from this act. When you put a bunch of people with different history, ethnicities, religions, languages and cultures into a country together, it hardly ever ends well.

But then the colonialists were never interested in the well-being of the populations they colonised in the first place. Only how to exploit the native people and their natural resources.

If you think they did this arbitrary your naive. The whole point of the maps is to cause tension and conflict. Ask your self this if we had all 5 somali territories in the 1960's Ogaden , NFD , djibouti somaliland. Would we be in the place we are in now ?
