The world last Matriarchal societies

Pretty interesting stuff. I always wondered how a matriarchy would function in real life.

I wonder if matriarchy was more common in the past because a lot of these matriarchal societies are isolated from most of the world

Also after finishing all of these videos I was curious to why matriarchy is less successful as patriarchy

I got two theories:
1) Patriarchy is more expansionist, and progress driven
2) Matriarchy is more focused on community, and nothing else

I don’t believe a fully matriarchal society on a global or country scale would work. Yes, women can be leaders and shouldn’t be second citizens.
Let’s look at African American culture. The culture promotes the women to be strong, a majority are raised only in single mother households with exposure to any men, women are celebrated when getting degrees, economic status, and most prominent black leaders now are women. Michelle was what got Obama the black vote.
The gangbangers in the hood come from all female environments . The reason why is that hood maadow dudes are actually very emotionally sensitive and stunted.
The major issues for women in leadership roles are 1. Women are more emotionally driven and tend to make serious decisions based of feelings. This is from my experience working under women and living in a city ran by a woman. 2. I guess this is an American problem but here’s a lot of jobs that state funded for women. Female city workers in Chicago are same the laziest and incompetent elitist you will ever meet. The current mayor is a literal affirmative action hire. She supports BLM but they’re not allowed to protest in her neighborhood .

@Nafiso Qalanjo . I feel like the Tuareg got the balance right. Tuareg women enjoy high status within their society, compared with their Arab counterparts and with other Berber tribes: Tuareg social status is transmitted through women, with residence often matrilocal.
Most women could read and write, while most men were illiterate, concerning themselves mainly with herding livestock and other male activities. The livestock and other movable property were owned by the women, whereas personal property is owned and inherited regardless of gender.

These matriarchal societies haven’t advanced technically and/or economically . What inventions have these groups made ? What architectural complex monuments such as Giza pyramids or The Great Wall of China was produced by these strong independent matriarchies ?

Women ruling a society isn't the issue. It's women not allowing the boys be raised with the father figures that's messing things up.
Women can teach women about femininity but are incapable in raising a man.

Woman knowing their power lies in their femininity and their feminine qualities is a powerful woman.

A woman not understanding that a woman and a man are equal but fundamentally different is a woman that's toxic to her surrounding whether she's aware of it or not.

What we got in the Western World is neither a patriarchy nor is it a matriarchy. It's an elite class that serves to divide and conquer. A good example is to pit the women and the men against eachother to prevent an upcoming generation to rise up against the status quo. Blacks vs Whites. Middle Class vs Poor. The Police vs The People. Judeo-christians vs Muslims. So on and so forth
