The true inspiration of the Somali Flag- The Seal of the King

The seal of the King of Majeerteenia, used blue ink, and inside was a white star. The man who created the flag, Mohamed Cawaale Liibaan, was from that Kingdom, and a member of the nationalist party, SYL.

Somalia should change its flag when it gets back on its feet to rebrand and signal the new era of peace and prosperity. This new generation hasn’t witnessed anything positive under that flag and the previous generations witnessed a short lived era of peace until all hell broke loose.

Unrelated but since PL is mentioned I thought to share what I came across.

The majerteen back then referred to their land as the "Ψ£Ψ±ΨΆ Ψ§Ω„Ψ£Ω…Ψ§Ω†" β€œUrdu-el-Aman” and I remember I saw this emblem from the 2000s β€œnabdo iyo nolol” which is kinda adorable how people thought to use a term that their ancestors used years ago.
