The people of Israels after being saved from Egypt, years after Moses pbuh passed- asked their religious judge Samuel for a King to govern them. That was their first SIN before the ensuing chaos that followed.

Saul was a strong man and king. God blessed him with many battle wins and honors yet -as he was never Gods plan but the plea of the Israels- God obliged. The King Saul of the Israel people became confident and a little detached from his God. His sins were like falling cards. The King after Saul was David- although not perfect himself- his heart was full of God consciousness. Because God anointed David with the divine olive oil- he was spared the arrogance where King Saul did not have this divine prophetic protection David did!

SIN # 1 Saul let Anxieties win over him by not waiting for Samuel to arrive so he could do sacrifice for God before the battle. He went ahead and did the sacrifice of animal himself. This was a NO NO in isreal-- Priests and Kings had their own job, you can't cross boundary.

SIN # 2 Saul did not obey God a second time. He was ordered to kill ALL the ammolites and leave no child, man woman or livestock. Saul did everything except he left their King and the good livestock live. His excuse was i spared the good livestock to do sacrifice to God- that is where Samuel says to him-Obeying is better than offering sacrifices!

SIN # 3 Saul repented his sins but not genuinely. He asked Samuel to bless him in front of his people, so his image remained intact. This was not a genuine repenting to God but to appease his image and ego in front of his nation.

SIN # 4 Saul Jealousy and envy became darker over time- he wanted another King- a boy king David-literally dead-- who was anointed by God. This is the Sin of Iblis, unchecked envy because of arrogance! And from here- Saul went down the Sin rabbit hole to his death in a war by self suicide!

The moral of the story??????? here it is- Walaaahi Humans are in trouble. We ALL are not 100% obeyers of Allaah swt, therefore Molly-- Girl-- You in trouble! Obviously, we cannot have achieved Perfection of being Sinless, because our Father Adam pbuh, was the first disobeyer! But fix our hearts people. Try to make your heart free of arrogance, minimize disobedience, avoid human/shaitan ego, and be honest to God because God can tell what is in your heart.

Which ironically throughout the Quran --Allaah swt continuously reminded us he is all knowing, and all seeing -- whether you reveal or hide -- I know.
