I think that we will get a navy soon. The numbers of our army is so low because Somalia is focussing on trained troops over undisciplined militias. With the U.S troops leaving and Somalia (almost) being out off debt I expect the arms embargo to be lifted. China & Russia will be more than willing to sell military hardware to Somalia. It is a win win for everyone.

I highly doubt there is 20k SNA troops in the south, I don't even think there is 5k, not only they are incompetent and never freed a village but they also work for A.S at night.

They are as useless as Amison, you can't make a an Ex-Isbaarist and Mooryaan into a national army, it doesn't work like that, they need a rehab first.

When Somalia is debt-free it can easily get funds to buy military hardware. You can easily get a loan as a developing country with zero debt. A stable Somalia is critical when you want to encourage foreign investment in Somalia. The development will increase Somalia's tax collection which will be used to pay off the loans.

I think that enough progress has been made to lift the arms embargo.

The soldiers are more loyal to their clans then the army.
And farmajo wont allow troops who are from clan's that aren't loyal to him to join. That's why he refused to integrate around 2,000 of puntlands militia to the SNA.

PL should be integrated. I think it makes sense if FGS demands loyalty but not discriminate against PL soldiers and FGS should also pay soldiers directly

I don't buy that, Puntland is its own entity like Somaliland, can't compare it to the rest of the states.

Nothing to fear about the SNA, the quality of the recruit will not 'change' very 'urban' and this is lower class of soldier by spirit. Farmers/urban are not know as the best specimen of soldier that's probably why their resorting to hit n runs. When they came to pl in 2016 we disarmed them and declared them 'babies' who were 'insane' no farmer or urban soldier will capture PL, it's the largest area in somalia nomadic scene, it's the bravest specimen of soldier who held dhulbahante to stalemate which noone else in the north did. If u respect dhulbahante nicknamed 'dhul boobe' which isnt' cayaar niyahow when others were called 'ab gaal' kkkkkk habar this isnt good indicator of warrior watsoever even though the habars can be measured only majerten matched dhulbahante in sayid war.

These kids wil drop the gun quickly in the north, in the south its vs other southies hence u need 'northerners' who can end it quickly as it wont be 'even war' then as long as the weapons are the same and its not 'urban area where they can hide' but totally conventional and open space.
