Which means this class of Somalis have a gdp per capita equivalent to that of western nations and higher than all Arab gulf nations except for Qatar. eh we chased them out of many markets but their holdings in Kenyas longstanding giants or all their investments in transportation/banking/telecom/construction makes them likely over all richer. Indians and Kikuyus inherited Kenya.

Sure we overtook eastleigh and markets like auto/mobile phones/clothing etc but if you go to malls like two rivers westgate etc it will more likely have indian money in it with some indian stores rather then Somali. If you go to an indian area it is still higher end then most Somali ones, their schools are significantly more professional even hosting international exams like the igcse/Alevel/IB for other Somali and Kenyan schools who are not trusted by British school bodies.

I assume education. There’s a lack of quality education in Somalia and even Djibouti. Djibouti was good before but they change the system to the Djibouti system which was previously the French system. Somalis when they immigrate don’t speak English and that language is universal. So that puts Somalis at a disadvantage. Even habashis don’t have quality education. It’s sad. Am not surprised that other African migrants are doing better than us.

And why are they putting Somalis on blast like that!?! They’re putting a target on the backs of Somalis. If you have lacaag don’t tell anyone!

Kenyan Americans and Xabashi Americans are mostly people who went to america to work or study, Somalis are mostly refugees and their descendants. You can't compare the two. If you just examined Somali families that came on student or work visas you will probably find a similar average income.
Most diaspora somalis in the west are refugees from poor backgrounds, on the other hand the somali diaspora in Kenya and the Arab world is made of a more diverse Somali population that includes middle class families

I'm not against welfare in general but i believe in some cases it can harm and numb people. Welfare system shouldn't not be just about money but also education, learning a job etc.

Well Scandinavian countries are very capitalist and they have one of the highest economic freedom index in the world. Somalis prosper in countries were they are encouraged to work and stick together.
