I genuinely can’t believe that users like @Woke1.4rm.Shibis are denying that HSM made an agreement with Saudi Arabia to send Somali women as maids.

This was reported by Somali and international media.

Even Human Rights Watch condemned this deal as dangerous towards Somali women.

He had the audacity to say that the Somali embassy will keep an eye on it!!

Are you supposed to tell me that richer nations like India couldn’t keep an eye on them but Somalia could.

Now, I believe that they’re all the same but this particular incident is treasonous beyond any measure.

My candidate is Deni also. Most of my posts regarding this election have stated that I would back his candidacy.

But what I have seen on SSpot is certain users trying to change history by denying that HSM sold women. That’s a red line.

They’re claiming that no deal was done with Saudi Arabia when the public record points to the contrary.

I dont know if the deal happened or not but I sure as hell hope it did. Somalis are literally risking their lives to get into the gulf states so they can work as maids while they are not protected by the law.

Useless men would rather see these poor ladies and their families starve to death because they feel their misplaced pride is damaged. Or they would like to see the status quos whe Somali women take a risky journey as illegal immigrants to do the same job with lower salary and no rights. I completely understand why HSM pushed for the deal. He does not live in a world where most Somalis have many options. The deal would definitely improve the standing of anyone willing to work as a maid. Keep in mind that HSM was never to force or sell anyone. Simply provide visa for anyone willing to work as a maid.

Somalis are not allowed to work as maids in the Arab world as they’re an Arab League nation.

You can ask Gulf Somalis such as @Shimbiris and they’ll tell you that prior to HSM, only Somalis would hire Somali maids and claim they were relatives.

But since HSM, Somali maids being hired by ajnabis became a reality.

Mind you Kenya, Ethiopia and Uganda all banned their citizens from going to Saudi Arabia as maids before HSM signed this deal.

Why did HSM only make a deal with Saudi Arabia?

Not UAE or Qatar etc. More Somalis work as maids in UAE but HSM never bothered to protect their interests??

He only signed a deal with Saudi Arabia because they offered a large cash sum in exchange for maids after Uganda, Kenya and Ethiopia told them to f*ck off.
