No one fully controls eastern sanaag it's not a militarized zone like Sool. If puntland controls badhan they would destroy that somaliland flag , for sure . There is just two local warsangeli militias in the town . Here is the thing somaliland is not very interested in eastern sanaag simply because we are not gaining any thing from it . No oil deposits , no business corridors and no revenues, it's not even symbolic because we already control 3 out of the 5 sanaag districts including the regional capital.
