France has never published their race or religious census results but it’s an open secret that the Muslim number is very high.

Most of the numbers you find online (including my own) are guesswork.

What is very suspect is that French people, when polled, put their Muslim population at over 30% despite the claim being 7.5%.

How is there such a big gap between the prevailing estimate and the belief of the population?
