The somali army was a powerful force, even if it was weak in the last years Omar Arte Ghalib had the duty to keep the army together and defend the country. The dissolving of the somali army meant that soldiers sold their equipment, destroyed government owned vehicles like tanks, planes, boats etc. One day we had an army and the next day it was all destroyed. Somalia never recovered from this

Whats wrong with saying the Italians estimated Benaadir is more populous than 4 out of 5 FMS so they should get the same level of representation? The reality on the ground is SFG will remain dysfunctional as long as Benaadir is unrepresented in a government that mainly controls parts of Benaadir
