The negative impact of qabiil on Somalia's economy

Basically a city is a city and meant to be a place in which everyone can bring products and expertise to have it grow. The more exclusive it gets, the less of a devolved metropolis it will become. If we believe that tribe is a concept in governance and creating city administration, we will be ruling by the laws of the baadiyo which it is were clans exist. Cities are populations of many peoples with different expertise (shucuub) while the baadiyo is a tribe or a clan (qabiil). The idea of a city belonging to a certain clan will forever not work. The idea of clan identity will also be extinct if there is development and integration. Imagine if historical Istanbul, Cairo. Rome. Paris, London, and New York resorted to power sharing and classifying people by clan Identity, they would never reached what they have today without seeing an individual rather than clan dichotomies.

The Zero-Sum Politics of Somalia.

In Somalia, there are no national interests in the intellect of politicians forget about economics. Therefore, the society doesn't think of an independent and sovereign homeland, but rather of a clan to take refuge in the event of aggression from other clans. That has a serious effect on the economy.
