Yes bro Somali Sufis are quite different as they tend to be Salafi but do Hadra and Zikr and Mawlid

I think they are still Asharis but they just don't do these grave worshipping and ask Awliya for help like these other crazy sufis. They also look like Salafis with their beard and short thobe.

But I have never seen them say they are Salafi or Athari.

Nah they aren't Ashari, Ash'arism is mainly North Africa and Fertile Crescent
