I’m fascinated by the subcontinent and its history. Maybe it’s the “tribal” nature of their ppl that lured me in but I can’t quite put my finger on it.

I see. Didn't know these South Asians were tribal, maybe except for Pashtus who are really an Iranic speaking group. And I know there is still stratification dealing with caste.

It was just a quick post I did since I thought it was quite fascinating how they exist as a group today through historic systematic purity control that reduced their numbers but also maintained very high number of Persian ancestry, despite living a thousand years among South Asians, numbering around fifty thousand today.
