This water in Qooqane and Helikalyo is not from the river rather from the valleys of the adjacent mountains in Ethiopia and because the river can't take it when it's full it flows along with it. We have built an elevated road(Jidcad) that connects Qooqane to Ceelgaal highway. Qooqane is 20km from Baladweyne and Helikilyo is 7 km from Baladweyne. We have built levees empankments at Helikalyo. The solution that remains is to divert this water from Burdhiinle and Abaaley to the east of the highway caduunka indhocaad and build a bridge for it. the livestock and our edouins can benefit from. There is 22 km highway project between Baladweyne and Kalabayr so we can take advantage of this to build bridges for these moving water(biyaha guurtida ah)
