Maybe from our genetic structure? The natufian DNA in the Somali gene with indigenous sub-saharan HAs population that the AEs don't have.

The language of Somalis and AEs are comletly different and belongs to two different sub-branches of the Afro-Asiatic language family. With each sub branch evolving/developing into dialect and these dialect evolve into separate languages.

It is believed that Somali is descended of Lowland-East-cushtic, which is a descended of hypothetical language called East-cushitic. So from Afro-Asiatic language to Somali goes like
