Most of the work is being done by US/our aid partners yes. The IDP camps are administered by UN too.I understand that. But are they really doing anything about droughts rn? Besides I mean getting aid money.
The aid partners aren’t really helping us in the long run…it’s keeping us from standing on our own two feet. We need to come up with independent strategies to help ourselves that are sustainable. The government’s job ofc is to work with partners to get more aid donations and facilitate the areas it gets to.
Well that’s up to the FGS. Which only exists because of foreign partners. Without them Shabaab would quickly capture most of the South. The aid partners aren’t really helping us in the long run…it’s keeping us from standing on our own two feet. I never said I support the state of Somalia as it currently is. I support Somalis bettering themselves in the best way possible.Well that’s up to the FGS. Which only exists because of foreign partners. Without them Shabaab would quickly capture most of the South.
You can’t bemoan aid partners while supporting the client state known as Somalia.
