This is from The Journal of the Royal Geographical Society: JRGS, Volume 10 written 1841

Many of the names are very familiar, Errer (Hargeisa), Abarro (Abarso), Arabseia (Arabsiyo), Wuch'ali (Wajaale), etc. The route to Zeila was the shorter of the two ports and for those who don't know, Harar was the most important inland hub in the horn.

It's rather unfortunate that Harar, one of the most historically important cities in Somali history, was usurped by our sworn and undoubted enemies, the Abyssinians. Hopefully, when our situation back home fully stabilizes, we can think of regaining all of our lost territories, including Harar.

Great find, btw.:nvjpqts:
