@Erythrean there is no working social unitary model or even federal model in somali society. If they cant unite women, youth, football, civil, diaspora, religious, why do u have faith they can have a unitary or federal country? there simply no evidence except 'separation' being the norm. U wud think separation would be it official policy following in-line with how it's social institutions are. I don't like @Gadhwayne or his clan Isaaq but 'gar' bay lee yihin on seccession as this is the norm in somali social organization.

Meel ay ki midaysan yihin somali ma arag either federally or centrally, what i do observe is complete 'balkanization n seperation' as the common rule. Surely this should be our govt policy in-line with reality n somali social structures

@Farm Anytime Somalis endeavour to create any 'social organization' it always breaks down n balkanizes immediately is the common 'rule' I have observed. So I have little faith a unitary or federal country is possible. So u can imagine Dr Osman when hears Somalis say 'wax ba loo dhisaya somali' either locally or in the diaspora, I don't participate as I already know the outcome. That's why Im puntland centric.

So take my wisdom @Farm sharaftada ilasho never participate in anything 'somali loo dhisaya' it will alway break down n balkanize and ppl will start to spread rumours about u but ignore the elephant in the room 'hawiye' no matter where they r in the nation or outside watever includes them leads to a failed outcome(15 national conferences) or failed state(91 hag era) or anarchy like GM/HS. We can't even unite with them in galkacyo and u think we can federally?

Focus on PL only where things work.

I would love Somalis to be in 1 nation, federal or central or whatever model, lakin wat I desire sometimes doesn't correlate with the evidence when these things are attempted at the social level and never works. I would provide that advice to Puntland government. Waqtiga ha iska khasaarin

It's time PL thinks about cutting it's losses with this Somalia not sit there and wait on mere faith that things will get better.
