BRICS isn’t a trade union. It’s now adding even more countries with widely different foreign policy.

EAC is going to be the real power in East Africa with its single market and customs union. Leading in that as Somalia will see us jump in strategic importance significantly

No, this BRICS does nothing but talk about "THE WEST IS BAD" and hold summits. Half of the members hate each other,

• China x India,
• Iran x Saudia,
• UAE x Saudia

and the other half, except China and India are in crisis,

• Russia struggling with sanctions,
• SA turning into shithole with regular powercut for 15h/day economically dying,
• Argentina has one of the highest inflation in the world and heavily in debt.
• Ethiopia in crisis, genocides each decade, poor country.
• Iran is sanctioned
• Egypt sucks billions from the USA in terms of aid

This whole group of members make no sense to be on the same team. India is not even anti West, but anti-china.
