The Architectures and campus design is simple yet elegant. Especially the masjid. More designs like this one need to be implemented in Xamar if we’re serious about reclaiming xamar’s old title. AKA The white pearl of the Indian Ocean.

Many people left their villages due to insecurities/unemployment and settled in xamar. Unless we fix the core issues people won’t stop moving to xamar and building those ugly ass jingaad.

Muqdisho use to be nice place before. Isaaqs, Daroods and Reer Xamar use to be majority. Muqdisho can only return back if the houses and land is distributed back to former residents.

Who ever told u reer xamar make up a majority of anything outside of shangaani district lied to u.
I agree tho xamar had and still has issues with squatters. The good news is many thieves are Opting on building jingaad since the gov started collecting property tax and soon or late it will start ask for prove of ownership.

That’s very good news but you do that you will cause a civil war my friend. There are no parks and no urban planning. We should have taken advantage in 2012/2013. It looks like we need to move the capital city to another place.
