Turning Islam into a joke. I was laughing at this first but now I’m just disappointed.

Filthy sisterhood is a funny Name ngl :mjlol:

@Periplus what's your take on the whole fiasco :cosbyhmm:

The entire controversy and the manner in which it has been conducted by many brothers on social media has made the initial issue of this podcast insignificant.

The reason being that what these brothers have done to these women by slandering them and dragging their name through the mud on social media is worse than anything that podcast uttered.

The podcast is more famous for this fiasco than for its content.

Let’s say that these women committed a wrong, is this the way to discuss it?

It highlights a growing epidemic of toxic behaviour and thought by young Muslim men on social media.

Thats my two cents.

NB: Filthy Sisterhood would be a great name for a female rap group lol.

Sounds like reasonable demands
Nothing he said is reasonable.

1. Get a ‘male’ authorization figure to sign them off. Where does it say in the deen that only men are knowledgeable or scholars?

2. With Zina there needs to be 4 witnesses that have witnessed the act of intercourse. What she did doesn’t get the hadd punishment.

3. That troll is trying to treat Islam as some sort of joke.

Nothing he said is reasonable.
Most of the points are reasonable, like "Do not speak on matters of Islam without proper knowledge -Cease claiming you are an Islamic/Muslim podcast", "- Stop being in a room alone with a non-Muslim white man", "not only engages in hanging out with random non-Muslim men alone but they have made a card game for their young viewers to hang around with non-mahram men “to connect and vibe with each other(men+women)” Why?", "- Make Tawba, take down the video, and clarify to the viewers that engaging in zina isn’t Allah’s will and each and every young woman is accountable for engaging in zina. It isn’t normal or “fine” and you aren’t absolved of accountability or sin.", "- clarify why you encourage young women to “hang around connect and vibe” alone with young men and at the same time claim to be against sexual assault? -Stop revealing peoples sins for your own monetary gain.".

Don't you agree that these are reasonable demands?

She confessed to it, didn't she?

Hadd need witnesses or self report but it's recommend to keep it to yourself and ask Allah for forgiveness if there isn't enough witnesses.

Hadd in Islam is harsh so people think hundred of times before they commit Haram and it's not because the action of haram it self but publicizing it.
