I have seen people mention the “sunnah” fgm and how it’s better than the fircouni fgm but it’s no good.
i have cousins who have it done and they have major problems. It effects their periods, causes life long discomfort and urinating issues. It also causes nerve damage too. One of my cousins just came to America recently and she’s getting a revision surgery. I can’t imagine how bad fircouni is, if regular FGM is like this. It’s like cutting a mans dick off subhanallah.
