Tension rises as Sanaag gears up to become battle ground

The noose is tightening on Caare.

Somaliland makes their word finally good and finds new strategy to combat Caare's frequent incursions into Sanaag and attack on Somaliland troops stationed there.

The Eastern Sanaag community a peace loving people are pressured to stop Caare using their towns and villages as a go between for Caare's attack.

Somaliland said they have no option but militarise Eastern Sanaag which brings the region into chaos and crossfire between Somaliland and Puntland.

They do not want to end up like Sool and allow their region to become a battleground.

The politics they were following to not antagonise supporters from the clan on both administrations sides is in danger.

That stance served them well as could be seen by the two military installations of both administration are opposite of each other in Badhan.

This goodwill and keeping the interests of the clan above the two administration is being tested.

Last I heard Somaliland Sanaag commander moved some troopsto Yubbe.

Anyways guaranteed that the Soldiers from both side are related bad Somaliland recruits soldiers locally the majority of the time with the minority coming from the other regional battalions...

Can also be for sure PL soldiers have visited and broke bread with their rivals in that badhan compound

Caare made a big mistake by going on TV saying he come close to Erigavo as that spurred Somaliland on top ensure that any future incursion won't be deep on their terrority and make sure that they're on his doorstep.

Somaliland is good at keeping the status quo unless things change politically not in their favour we say that at tukaraq Which was going to be a Farmaajo visit and and now have engraved entrenched and secured it.

Let's see if Somaliland goes further, I think they will stay unless provoked

President Deni calls for Puntland people to defend themselves from Somaliland aggression.

He said that Puntland through contacts by peace loving people that it did not retaliate and that after Tukaraq it has increased to Yubbe and Sanaag.

He warned those that came to Yubbe that they will get a response.
