Kenya was using the argument of why Somalia want to be different than other east African states ( not wanting horizontal maritime line), while in fact their horizontal line with Tanzania is due to the zanjibari islands not because they agreed to have horizontal line.

Their maritime border correspond to their land boundary, until the northern zanzibar island where it curves upwards to correspond to the island's coastline territory.

Kenya doesn't have a leg to stand on. But, many rulings by ICJ have been ignored by countries. I hope this does not happen here.

Exactly, the boundaries should be the points which are approximately equal in distance to both countries, that's why Somalia's line goes down and Tanzania horizontal.

What is this nonsense, first of all maritime borders don't go out that far

Tanzania has islands that account for its line, the other borders apart from Somalia/Kenya are straight because the coastline between the countries is basically vertical.

Somalia sticks out hence the coastline between Kenya and Somalia looks like / so the equidistant border line is perpendicular to that so it is like \
