This guy's family has been in Tanzania for generations( I assume he's Isaaq). But Zambia and Uganda Somalis are refugees whose are there under 30 yrs.

there’s Somali companies in Zambia older than 30 years. Granted there was an influx of Somalis in Zambia during the 90s but Somalis established themselves in the 60s, Somali presence in Zambia was thanks to the rhodesians putting sanctions on goods from Zambias southern boarder trade routes.

It is like Jamaican Patois, which is a mix of English and West African influences. Swahili is a mix of Bantu, Arabic, and Persian language spoken along the coast. Keep in mind nearly every African tribe in Kenya, Tanzania, and Mozambique where Swahili is spoken still has their own tribal languages.
Swahili is also partly spoken in Somalia (Brava and Gosha), Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Little Fun history for you: Kiswahili was only spoken in coastal areas before the WHITE Man spread it to the hinterland (Missionaries)
reer gosha used to speak Zigula , which isn’t Swahili or even Sabaki, and like Af-Chimwini is sadly being wiped out by Maay Somali
