Syria and Iraq have been conquered for most their history. Sure Afghanistan was helped by their terrain, but you have to give it to them they managed to take a historically ethnic and tribally divided place and unify it under an Islamic Emirate. Even against superpowers like the US and USSR
You do have a point and I will agree with you that they are fierce warriors but without terrain they would have been colonized by the British or be a Soviet province like Uzbekistan.
Besides that nation isn't any better than somalia they massacre each other based on ethnic lines the only reason why the pashtun have control is because of the alliance with the Tajik.
Somalis deserve every bit of getting cucked for continuing to let human trash become president twice.
And yet the greatest fighting force the world has ever seen spent hundreds of billions of dollars and thousands of lives only to go back home with their tails between their legs. The failure in Afghanistan is a reason why there is an "no boots on the ground" policy by America in the middle east.

The question nobody ever asks is what is Afghanistanβs ceiling as a country? Letβs say the taliban succeed in effectively implementing their Islamic Emirate. In the very best case scenario, what is Afghanistan going to be like? My guess is a poverty stricken place that lacks economic activity or innovation. The turbanhead douchebags will rely on foreign handouts, the drug trade, arms trade etc to remain in power.
