Each side being more divided. they act like it is some sort of Olympic games, the worst thing is that Somalia is not nowhere as developed as China or Taiwan.

yes because Taiwan is known to be a vulture country. Who cares what Chinamen thinks one minute niggas saying Somalia needs to stand up to the IC and tell them to mind their business next minute you’re telling Somaliland to be scared of and base their decisions on another country they barely have any relations with.
The same China debt trapping all these poor countries and now some people are suggesting to never upset China. China needs to be confronted by all these African nations not appeased.

China tensions are bigger than Taiwan, it’s about the very identity of Chinese governmental legitimacy. What do you think will happen if you pursue relations with Taiwan further, Somaliland isn’t some first world country china can’t suffocate? Things are going to get nasty the very fact Somaliland is getting dragged in isn’t good, it would be far wiser to not get involved at all and develop on their own. But I do suppose Taiwan is one of the few nations Somaliland can get support from, it is just silly to try to poke a bear that is getting cornered.

China has no leverage because they do nothing for Somaliland in the first place. We are not part of any international organisation. Our cup is empty. Any conflict is good for Somaliland we’ll just take somalias full cup and pour half out into ours. We will be in the swift banking system and have an emoji soon. We will have our armed forces trained and equipt. We’ll have huge FDI from multinational companies. We don’t need the UN. As you can see it’s already an obsolite organisation that will go defunked soon just like the League of Nations did.
