Sudanese sends threat to Kenya

That closet of skeletons is filled with 2.5 million people.

Also, the RSF was created by Khartoum's military leaders, so just how do you delineate responsibility?
That was during a 30 year civil war that ended nearly 20 years ago. Most of them died from starvation, which the southern rebels played a role in as well.

Already answered the RSF thing in another thread so won't address it again.

So what if that was nearly 20 years ago?

The affects of that are still being felt by millions of people today.

The responsibility for that war still lies with the North; there wouldn't have been a war if Khartoum hadn't reneged on the terms of the 1972 Peace Agreement.

Khartoum reneged on terms that required it to return annexed Southern lands -- the trigger for the 1st civil war; it reneged on allowing a Referendum for Abyei; attempted to carve out an area the size of the fuc**** Netherlands; and it imposed Sharia on the whole Country.

Southerners didn't even want to create another armed movement after the 1972 Peace Agreement; Dr. John Garang told Southern political, military and traditional leaders to prepare for war in 1975, as the North would inevitably renege on the Agreement... and he was told that he was paranoid and that Nimeiry was different and sincere.

Because the average Sudanese soldier was too young to participate in that war? And majority of generals were low ranks back then too. But yes Nimeiry screwed both Sudans over.

Yes, the majority of the Generals would have been in low to mid levels, however, the very senior leaders (a very small coterie of men) of the armies in both the North & South have been in high positions for a while now; and they constantly invite their counterparts to their weddings in Khartoum and Juba.

That’s a good point, but in the current situation, it’s pretty obvious whose worse, and on the topic of the RSF, it’s pretty obvious it was created by Bashir as a counterweight to the military, due to his suspicion of it. Im not saying the military is an effective body of governance and that it should continue to be involved in the politics of Sudan but the old guard, Bar Al burhan ofc have been arrested and imprisoned. It’s simply a case of choosing the lesser evil in my opinion.

The whole speech is stupid and pointless; I don't think Kenya even intimated the idea of invading Sudan.

Calling for a humanitarian corridor and calling for an invasion are two completely different things; a Kenyan official responded to this with yet another equally vapid speech, filled with threats and bluster.
