Yeah it seems that throughout the whole rule of ancient Egypt sudanis were slaves to them
No not really. It was back an forth. Famously the Kush Empire conquered and ruled Egypt under the 25th dynasty.

If Sudan was slaves thee whole time then it wouldn't really be a rivalry. Both sides got subjugated by each other at different points in the last 3,000 years.

This is why the North Sudanese losing their ancient languages was a brutal mistake. They went from being Egypt’s overlords as the Kushites and remaining independent in the Three Kingdoms of Sudan period to being seen as Egypt’s backyard when they are so much more as a country.

I wish they had converted to Islam but retained their old language like Somalia.
True that. I have little problems with Arabs but the Arabization of Nubia was truly a mistake and unmitigated disaster. What was once an advanced civilization and land that mainly had a Nilotic and Cushitic presence became a backwater slave state that later became torn apart due to ethnic and religious strife. The virulent racism of Arabs was at its worst here with mass slavery and genocide and the black Africans who always always seen Nubia as their home would be treated as a second class group by Arab rulers. Even black Sudanese people like Omar Al Bashir discriminate against blacks simply because they don't speak Arabic showing how Arabization brainwashed its native population to fight against their own. I suspect this is the reason by the Beja were mostly spared from these massacres and racism because many of them speak Arabic.

If things had gone differently and Nubia managed to push back against Bedouin migrations, then it could have been something like Ethiopia today, a Christian country with a large Islamic minority that kept its ancient culture and languages intact.

The north is where people say somali originally lived first then they started expanding south. The north is where you will find the purest somalis. before the civil war somalis in the south didn't marry with bantus but it seems to have changed since.
complete ethnic change will most likely take place, Somalia won't be Somalia anymore. They just going to have to bring in countless arabs into the country and turn to Brazil at this point. Somaliland last man standing.

Nubia was already a slave state, much like any other contemporary state. In addition, Nubian civilisation was on the decline and the Arab civilisation was enjoying a golden age so naturally they’d become influential over their neighbours.

By the way, nearly all nations have experienced mass migration in the past from neighbouring peoples, Sudan is no different. The Arab tribes migrated into Sudan & intermarried with the Nubian/Beja locals & also mixed with Nilotes to a lesser degree, thus creating the average Sudanese Arab today.

Of course, racism is wrong but you cannot alienate Sudan from its Arab heritage which is linked by blood.
