Which region do you think is more beneficial to Somalis economically & politically?

And which of those two regions do you think Somalis should have a closer cultural & genetic ties too, MENA or Sub-Sahara Africa?

African Union is definitely important for Somalis growth economically and politically but also the Arab League important for exports and other trades. Money comes before stupid xenophobic feelings.

African Union has no value to Somalia nor does the Arab League. The way forward for Somalia is making an aliiance rather than join one

Whilst we have good trading relations with our Gulf partners, the AU sends a horde of bantus to rape and pillage the South...


Overall, the MENA regions has a lot more economic opportunities to offer & we already share a common Afro-Asiatic heritage with them as well, especially with North African Amazigh peoples.

You seem to overstate your Afro Asiatic heritage while underplaying your (majority) Sub Saharan African heritage a lot.
It shouldn’t even be a question which we are closer to, considering Somalis are actually Sub Saharan Africans.

Our Afro-Asiatic heritage clearly plays a big role in our identity, since our forefathers were originally full Afro-Asiatic/Eurasian before they moved South & eventually in to the HOA.

Btw, i disagree with your claim that we're majority Sub-Saharan African genetically, we're more like a 50/50 mix on average. We'll just to have to agree to disagree on that one.

I get where you're coming from, but from a purely geographical stand point...Somalia is clearly a Sub-Saharan Country.

When it comes to genetics, Somalia & the HOA is a contact region that contained Caucasoids & Negroids.

Somalia has great potential to not only be a hub between Africa & the Middle-East, but also serve as an African bridge to the Far-East.

An export-orientated economic model would do wonders for Somalia.
