Let's hope Jubaland pushes into the Juba Valley this year. if Ahmed Madoobe does not manage to take towns on the Juba from Alshabab this year, he is a total failure. He has been in charge for almost 5 years, tangible results are needed.

Kismaayo, Badhaadhe and Afmadow are partially liberated but Jamaame is under the complete control of Alshabab. All of Middle Juba is under Alshabab. Most of Jubaland outside Gedo is controlled by Alshabab. Ahmed Madoobe has been hesitant to use Gedo troops to free those areas, but a coup attempt is not likely. He should be using troops from Gedo to increase the strength of Darawiishta. Figure out a way to draw them out of SNA and into Darawiishta without losing their pay. He should also give an ultimatum to the two faced small clans in Kismaayo district that keep dogging his rear whenever he tries to move his troops.

Gedo's districts are also Liberated by the Marehan Militia in 2012.. as i said MIDDLE JUBBA is the only region that left to be liberated. But HUGE presence of Rahanwayn/alshabaab militias in MIddle jubba is discouraging the army to go forward and liberate that region. Middle Jubba is predominantly Rahanwayn and Ahmed Madoobe doesn't want to upset the natives of the region. He'll need to handle the situation better.

As i said, every district in Lower Jubba and Gedo is liberated.. Kismaayo, badhaadhe, afmadow, ceel waaq, balad xaawo, luuq, doolow, baardheere, garbahaareey.
