In order for Alshabab to take over Jubaland entirely it would need support from Marehan and Ogaden. Alshabab will rampage the countryside, but the main cities in Gedo, Afmadow and Kismayo will not fall. Marehan and Ogaden have learned a very strong lesson of how dangerous it can be to accept Hawiye leadership in Jubaland. ICU cost them 11 years, 11 years of absolute chaos and they are still dealing with the after effects.
