South African development community made Kiswahili an official language

So this SADC made this language an official language and Africans went nuts in the comments especially the South Africans. But others went the “we need to make the only langue in Africa “ type of approach. It is kinda have purging vibes in it.

Pan africanism imho is never going to happen. Despite it being a reaction to liberal colonialism, it would be easier to make it english but that would be contradictory to the movement. But making the rest of the continent speak one language such as swahili or Afrikaans is gonna be hard to implement and would create infighting like this

Kiswahili is spoken in Somalia, so basically the SADC accepted one of our own languages.
